I Can Be Book Series

Children’s Books written to share my three guiding principles for success.
~

Believe in yourself. It may sound like a cliche but it’s the seed from where greatness grows. I was always taught that I Can Be anything. In turn, I believed that I could pretty much do anything if I worked hard to achieve it. I knew pretty early that I wanted to be a doctor. We didn’t have any doctors in my family, but I had fun playing the game Operation. These were likely seeds. I Can Be plants seeds of possibilities.

When I went off to college, my mom told me that I would be in class with plenty of other smart people and that what would set me apart would be my character. The way you treat others and the way you carry yourself really matters. My second book in the I Can Be trilogy is I Can Be Awesome. It focuses on the importance of developing character traits that help you in the classroom, with friendships, and in your overall life.

I believe self-love is a learned behavior. I am thankful that I learned this at an early age. Self-love shows up in many ways. Your confidence, your health, your relationships, and so much more are a reflection of how you treat yourself. Having self-love as an innate part of your DNA helps you discern which behaviors from yourself and others are in your best interest. The last book in the I Can Be trilogy is I Can Be Healthy. It identifies the physical and mental behaviors that are pillars in loving yourself and loving life.
