Hi,

I’m Cassidy!

Here’s a short illustrated autobiography that gives you a glimpse of ME along with a few questions I’m most frequently asked during my live readings.

What was you favorite book as a kid?

I read a lot of books when I was young, but my favorite book as a kid was Brown Bear, Brown Bear, and Goodnight Moon. I remember my parents being so animated reading them to me. I still have these very same books on my reading shelf today.

What was your favorite subject in school?

Like most kids, my favorite subject was lunch. But academically, my favorite class was science. I loved entering the science fair. I remember receiving the Best of Show award for growing crystals.

How did you graduate from high school at 16 years old?

While in middle school, I tested to jump ahead in 9th grade math and science. Since I was ahead in those classes, I took extra classes each semester to move forward in the other classes.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

At one time, I wanted to become a fashion designer. Then, when I was 9 years old, I saw the swearing in of Sonja Sotomayor and thought I may want to become a Supreme Court Justice. It wasn’t until I started taking biology and anatomy classes that I realized I was meant to become a doctor.

What do you like to do when you are not studying?

I played the piano and violin in school but I never became really great at it, so in my free time I practice my keyboard. I also like to journal. But my favorite thing to do is salsa dancing. It’s great exercise and it gives me a chance to practice my Spanish.

What's a little known fact about you?

I am an undefeated Pi champion. Pi Day was celebrated on March 14th. to commemorate the mathematical constant. Oftentimes, they would have a contest to determine who could remember the most digits of Pi. I won this honor several times in middle and high school.
